Jodi Lyn O'Keefe was born in Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey in the family of Noreen as well as Jack O'Keefe, a director of labor relations for Merck. The model began her modeling career when she was eight after watching her oldest sister Heather modeling. She modelled for companies including Gitano Jeans. After she turned teen, she attended Saint John Vianney High School Holmdel New Jersey. Following her sophomore year, Jodi quit school to appear in the show Another World (1964), where she played Marguerite Cory. In 1996, she starred as Cassidy Bridges after she had been removed from Another World. Cassidy Bridges was the character she played for 6 seasons. As she was shooting Nash Bridges, she debuted in 1998's Halloween sequel Halloween 20: Twenty Years After. Jodi became famous when she portrayed the character of the wealthy, rich and snobbish Taylor Vaughan as the star of the hit 1999 teenage film She's All That.
